Levbid
Levbid (Hyoscyamine) is used to control symptoms associated with disorders of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It works by decreasing the motion of the stomach and intestines and the secretion of stomach fluids, including acid. Hyoscyamine is also used in the treatment of bladder spasms, peptic ulcer disease, diverticulitis, colic, irritable bowel syndrome, cystitis, and pancreatitis. Hyoscyamine may also be used to treat certain heart conditions, to control the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and rhinitis (runny nose), and to reduce excess saliva production.

Prilosec
Omeprazole is used to treat various acid-related stomach and/or throat (esophagus) problems (e.g., GERD, ulcers, erosive esophagitis, or Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome). When using this medication to treat certain ulcers, it may be prescribed along with certain antibiotics (e.g., amoxicillin, clarithromycin).

Different definition / meanings for the word "drug abuse":
There are many reasons for drug abuse, including calming or exciting effects, escape from reality, search for awareness & mysticism, masking pain, blunting anxiety, fighting depression, escaping mental or physical deficits, lightening other burdens, improving performance, etc. Such drugs often require increasing dosage to obtain the same effect, leading to mental and physical dependence and possibly severe withdrawal symptoms with high risks

What are the differences between Index brand-name drugs and Index generic drugs?
You probably know that pharmaceutical companies carry out extensive research and clinical testing to win approval from the Food and Drug Administration for new drugs. The new drug is then protected by patent for at least 10 years. Hence, a brand-name drug. When the patent expires another drug company can "copy the recipe" for Index brand drug. This "copy" is called a generic drug. The FDA requires that generic drugs have the same active chemical composition, be dispensed in the same dosage form such as a tablet or capsule and be taken in the same dosage as the brand-name drug.
Birthcontrol-drugs.com recommends the use of a generic drug only when it is "A" rated, the highest bioequivalent rating by the FDA.

Index generic drugs usually cost less and competitive pricing by the different manufacturers further reduces the prices. Occasionally, generic drugs may look different from their brand-name versions because the inactive ingredients such as fillers and dyes can be different. However, these ingredients do not affect the safety or performance (efficacy) of the Index pill.
